• September 8 - Monthly meeting of WVHS
• September 20 - Historical Society of Whitpain’s fall antique and plant sale at Boxwood house, Cathcart and Skippack, 9 AM – 2 PM
  
  This is our last sale at Boxwood before the merger. Many items are included in this sale: antique rocking chairs and other chairs, old school desks, curio cabinet, antique oak table and other tables, Victorian sofa, books, including some dated 1800's and early 1900's, collectibles, jewelry, household items, etc. Also, beautiful plants including baskets, planters, fall annuals and perennials, pansies, ornamental cabbages, kale and pumpkins. Please come and support this sale. Reasonable prices.

• September 20 – 2014 Montgomery County History Fair- Heckler Plains Farmstead, 237 Landis Road, Harleysville
• September 21 - 1 to 4 PM Open House at the 1895 Schoolhouse, Skippack Pike & School Road. Get a tour of the Schoolhouse and see its’ collections.

• September 28 - 1 to 4 PM Open House at the Franklinville School. Come see our restoration of the last one-room schoolhouse open to the public in Whitpain.
• October 11 - WVHS’s annual market day/flea market - 8 to 2
  
  Wissahickon Valley Historical Society Market Day/Flea Market at the 1895 School. (School Lane & Skippack Pike).
• October 13 - 7:30 PM, Meeting: Wissahickon Valley Historical Society & Historical Society of Whitpain at the 1895 School. (School Lane & Skippack Pike). Speaker: Herb Levy. Topic: Remembering World War II.
