Many people who favor an English and English-only are only trying to mask their racial and cultural bigotry.

They just want everyone to speak one language. They do not want to tolerate people speaking different languages, or people who live in a different cultural environment. They use the English and English-only Act to cover their prejudice.

Schools pamper non-native students with bilingual courses, keeping them forever dependent on teachers and other more educated people.

The students should be shown how to speak English only. This is so that non-native students could be dependent. They would not have to refer to more educated people, to help them understand. The non-native people would find it easier, if they could understand what is going on around them, and English would help them.
