1. Many people who favor an English and English are only trying to mask their racial and cultural conflict bigotry.
People who prefer an English only speaking world are maybe indeed trying to hide their hate for bilingual communication. These are the people that are blind, who believe English is the only and best language because they know deep inside they can't learn Spanish.
My overall conclusion ov
/er this is that people who are closed minded and believe only in English speaking are afraid of more bilingual communication. They will feel totally left out. Or maybe it's something called plain old-fashioned jealousy!
2. Schools pamper non-native students with bilingual courses, keeping them forever dependent on teachers and other educated people.
Schools which provide students with bilingual courses are pampering the students to a point. The school is getting them used to relying on other people for help in communicating. For example, a student that is in bilingual may take classes less seriously if their teacher knows how to speak Spanish. But when going to a class with an English speaking teacher only, they have to take class more seriously and work harder at trying to master English.
