Thomas A. Edison High School/John C. Fareira Skills Center

Student Parking Policy

It is the policy of the Thomas A. Edison/John C. Fareira High School that students not park motor vehicles on school property unless an official permit has been obtained. No student shall drive or occupy any motor vehicle during school hours without specific permission of the administration. Motorcycles and mini bikes are banned from school property.

Edison allows students the right to use the parking lot if they are insured and have written consent from their parents. The students are not allowed to operate their cars during school hours. Our Parking Policy is fair to the students and the staff.

If a student brings a car to school, he/she must have written permission from a parent. The note should include the license number, the model and color of the car. The note should also state that no passengers will be transported in the car unless authorized by the administration. This permission will be given only after the passengers' parents have requested so in writing. Also, any vehicle operated on school property must have liability and property damage insurance.
