The Academy of Applied Electrical Science (AES),
coordinated by Ms Geraldine Surginer, trains students for careers in
electrical
related fields. In addition to an opportunity to study electrical and
electronic
theories, Academy students also participate in a
rigorous academic
program.
After graduation, AES students utilize their strong academic and technical training to attend trade school or college, or to begin an electrical related business. What makes the Electrical Academy unique is that it is the smallest, oldest and most family-like SLC at Edison. Attitude is everything. Since our group is the smallest smallest, personality and cooperation are very apparent. AES students concentrate their studies in one of several career pathways including Electronics, Electrical Construction, Electrical Mechanical, Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Computer Repairs, and Television Production. |
